Confidentiality

Your matter is not our content.

Nothing about your matter becomes a case study, a statistic or a name-drop. What we publish is the method — the matters themselves stay where they belong, with you.

Reviewed in confidence

We treat every inquiry as confidential. Your information is used to decide whether we may be able to assist, and for nothing else. We run a conflict check before any substantive discussion, and we will tell you if we cannot act.

If you are contacting us on behalf of someone else, please say so in the first message. It affects what we can discuss.

How it is handled, end to end

Four disciplines, applied from the first message to the last document of an engagement.

  1. On receipt

Your inquiry is read by a named case contact. Inquiries are reviewed in confidence; sensitive detail is not helpful at this stage and we do not ask for it.

  2. Before discussion

We run a conflict check before any substantive discussion, and we will tell you if we cannot act.

  3. In writing

Findings and proposals are issued as written assessments — a fixed-fee proposal in writing, not talk on a call.

  4. During work

If an engagement begins, material is shared only with those working on the matter, and only as far as the work requires.

Nothing becomes a case study

Clients do not hire a recovery firm so that their loss can become published material. That standard is enforced here.

  • No client names, case details or outcomes without written consent.

  • No recovery statistics on any page, in any form.

  • The composites on this site are composites — never accounts of actual client matters.

What we ask you not to do

Three absolutes, repeated from the contact page because they matter most before material changes hands.

  • Do not send passwords, PINs or full account numbers.
  • Do not post original documents.
  • Do not pay an upfront “release fee” to anyone who contacts you unprompted.

Please do not send original documents or account credentials until we confirm how to send them securely. The contact page has the full before-you-write checklist.

Confidentiality questions we get

Answered the way we would in writing — specifically, and without hedging.

Who at the practice will see my inquiry?

The case contact who reviews it. If a matter proceeds, only the people working on that matter — for example instructed counsel — and only as far as the work requires.

Will you confirm to anyone that I contacted you?

No. We do not confirm or deny that an inquiry exists, neither to third parties nor in any public material.

Can I withdraw an inquiry?

Yes. Say so at any time, and you can also ask for what an inquiry left behind to be deleted.

Start with what you are comfortable sharing.

A short description is enough to start. We will ask for more only once we have checked that we can act.
